Coralfolk

Coralfolk are a playable race in The World of the Power.
 

Coralfolk Traits

Creature Type: Humanoid
Size: Medium (about 5-7 feet tall)
Speed: 30 feet

  As a Coralfolk, you have these special traits.
Darkvision. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light and in darkness as if it were dim light. You discern colours in that darkness only as shades of grey.
Amphibious. You can breathe normally in both air and water.
Aquatic Adaptation. You have a tail and fins uniquely adapted for swimming. You have a swimming speed equal to twice your walking speed.
Additionally, you are adapted to frigid ocean depths, and have resistance to cold damage.
Control over Water. You learn the Shape Water cantrip. When you reach character levels 3 and 5, you learn higher-level spells, each of which you may cast once without a spell slot, and you regain the ability to cast it in that way when you finish a Long Rest. Intelligence, Wisdom or Charisma is your spellcasting ability for the spells when you cast with this trait (choose the ability when you select this species). You can also cast the spell using any spell slots you have of the appropriate level.
At 3rd level you learn the Create and Destroy Water spell. At 5th level you learn the Sending spell.
Emissary of the Sea. You can communicate simple ideas to any Beast, Elemental, or Monstrosity that has a swimming speed. It can understand your words, though you have no special ability to understand it in return.
