After Lord Olswyth captures East Riding, he declares himself 'King of Men', and is crowned in the Stone Hall in East Riding.
Lord Olswyth, having captured East Riding, wanted to show the people of Osteria that he was destined to lead the Three Cities. He is crowned 'King of Men' in the Stone Hall, while his guards watch over the occupied city. The Easterners look on in disgust at a man they do not see as their true leader. This is the starting point for years of animosity between the cities of Brilon and East Riding.
