Special abilities
Minstrel, like many other higher end Tydols, has a passive regenerative function and immunity to force damage. While other Tydols suffer from a weakness to lightning based attacks, Minstrel can convert that energy into spell slots once per day.

Vitarp
The vitarp is a surprisingly sturdy piece of Dorian tech made for Minstrel by the Archmagis some time before the Doria's Downfall. It was originally made to play music, the strings and style customizable enough to resemble a violin, guitar, and a harp all at once or one at a time. It's strings are almost impossible to play due to their tension and material, which makes it difficult to even strum unless you are a durable construct. During the second fight in the Array, Minstrel, while under the influence of the collegium frequency, revealed its more deadly form; a transformable scythe capable to slicing through armor and weaponry with ease. The range extends out from 5-10 ft interchangeably and can hit multiple targets in a sweep. It's seen damage by the group ranged from 42 to 72 damage with each swing. "Minstrel's instrument. Minstrel, like other Tydols, was granted life by the technology of Dorian Tech stemming from the meteor metal burrowed beneath the valley, the modern day Lucien Plains.Life Post-Doria
After the Doria's Downfall, Minstrel would travel the lands seeking purpose and answers to her new found sentience. Journal Entry: "I swear, despite being a Tydol, Minstrel has a tendency to be late for every summons. I wonder where her head is at. (Probable wish?) not on (fixing?) ((this?) Vitarp. If it isn't programmed, can they have emotions? On second thought, it might be the last we use this space. If she needs it again, I left Minstrel some tea on the desk. Mannerisms
Minstrel is often in thought with a furrowed far-off look when others are around. Never much to converse, it is more likely to find her eating sweets whenever the chance arises. She is rarely known to have moments of complacency; usually when caught off guard by others intruding on her Vitarp practice.
Trivia
- Minstrel's original conception was a running gag based on an NPC character creator that's default page always showed the Minstrel subset.
- Minstrel's first concept art had a hooded girl holding a lute with design variants on the cloak resembling what would later become Dorian military designs.
- Minstrel's redesign was based on Gray from Lord El Melloi's Case Files. Her bodysuit is designed in the style of anime mechsuit uniforms.
- Minstrel's love for sweets stems from the idea that sugar can be used in place of a Li-Ion battery at the cost of water production. Those tears have to come from somewhere!
