Gawain is a middle aged human with wispy blond hair and scruff. His body is scarred by beast and man alike, having been in enough fights to rival an adventuring party well in their years by himself.

Biography

Encounter in the Forest

Gawain first encountered Firia the Baatezu in the forest outside of New Hope. Gawain had the impression that Firia was an upstart hunter who couldn't handle a fight and challenged him to a hunting contest. The two matched wits until Firia was ambushed by a pack of saberboars. The two had a temporary ceasefire and engaged the pack until naught remained. The two enjoyed a dinner of roast pork and parted ways, reminding Firia that the forest is dangerous to take on alone. As he left, the outline of a large, grey wolf could be seen in the distance.

Training in the Snows near Ireaine

Stepping half drunk from a bar on a snowy afternoon, Gawain spotted a rampaging Orpheus charging in from the distance. Before getting mauled, his travelling companion Renyna butted in, exercising the use of a high level force scroll, landing Orpheus in a barn near the outskirts of town. After offering a medkit, Gawain proceeded to question Eliza and Ellina about their circumstances. Bringing to light his own thoughts on how their transformation was strained, he offered to train Orpheus to control his ability better. After leaving, he went to parts unknown for a few months to "recoup his losses", hoping to not hear news about them for his sake and theirs.

A Polite Chat in Brinecap

Gawain was spotted by Firia the Baatezu in the town of Brinecap. After exchanging pleasantries and information over spiked tea and biscuits, the two parted ways, each taking a different ship out of the harbor.

Encounter in the Graveyard

Unfamiliar to Val, Kindred, and Jorryn, Gawain and Renyna spotted the party outside of the town of Morovia. After a quick quip, the two wandered off into the forest to the East.
