Anpyr

There can only exist one Anpyr at a time, and they are a very secluded race. They were the 6th tribe to join Doria. This being is very similar to common day Vampires, in fact, he is the father of the original two Vampires, born from his union with a Human mother. The Anpyr survive by absorbing the mana in the world and rereleasing it back.   The only Anpyr known is the one residing in the Collegium, being taken care of by his son, Halos. The Anpyr is the only one who had the ability to use the mana and release it in the form of magic (like a filter), and to be able to change its elemental constitution. With the development of the 11th ring, he was able to cast long-since vanished 10th level spells.   Anpyr are excellent healers, using the mana in the air to stitch wounds. When they themselves are wounded, they release mana back into the air, thus creating a cycle of harm and healing. Unlike Vampires, Anpyr do not suffer any ills from sunlight or silver, as the sun is the largest producer of mana.   Lastly, the Anpyr are considered natural occurring, and live as long as planets.
