House Bruyn of Bearhall in The Valley of Echor-neâr are a great warriors of Echor-neâr. House Bruyn's castle, Bearhall, lies on the North Eastern tip of Oslias but this is not their first home. House Bruyn became the Kings of The Valley of Echor-neâr and owners of Rachdale during The Bruyn Rebellion after King Benóný II Bruyn, Founder of House Bruyn, started The Bruyn Rebellion by sieging and taking Rachdale. Before the The Bruyn Rebellion, House Bruyn was just known as Clan Bruyn and were a group of semi-nomadic warriors who pillaged and raided the valley for 200 years. House Bruyn lost the city of Rachdale during The Civil War of Echor-neâr. House Bruyn ruled Echor-neâr from city of Rachdale but they were forced to pledge loyalty to House Granholm, now of Rachdale and formerly of Baltso Castle. The ancestors of Lord Benóný VI Bruyn, the current head of House Bruyn and Lordship of Bearhall, where forced to move westward into the depths of the tundra to find a home. Lord Benóný is named after his ancestor Benóný The Bruyn, a great warrior from Before Mans Return.
