Grossbeerenstrasse Cinema

A delightful, upmarket cinema that's been respectfully converted from a former theatre, in a prominent location on Grossbeerenstrasse.

Description

The foyer is grand, framed by a two sweeping stair cases that lead to the balcony and projector room. Within the foyer itself is an oak and brass ticket office, a small concessions stand, and a well-stocked bar. Double doors lead into the cinema proper, with side doors leading to restrooms and the staff areas. The staff areas are restricted access, and comprise of a number of rooms from it's history as a theatre, with staff changing rooms, prop storage rooms (now used to store films), and more. The staff are all immaculate and beautiful, with men in tuxedos with red bowties and cumberbands, and women in black dresses and red lace chokers and red high heels.   In the cinema itself plush red carpets line the floor, with a central aisle leading to the rows of leather and oak seats. Uplighters and wall sconces bathe the room in a warm light, dimming to complete darkness when the film commences. It's high arched ceiling allows for two viewing floors, with the balcony reserved for only the most important socialites of Berlin.   Up on the balcony the central seats have been removed to make room for a few tables and chairs, reserved exclusively for the proprietor of the establishment and her guests.
