Detailed explanation: The Long Stretch
As mentioned before, the Long Stretch is one of the largest continents, with the general layout of the landmass starting around the equator and continuing at a north easterly direction, terminating at the more polar regions close to the continent of Shutontas.
This leads to this Stretch being divided into several distinct regions; the Janid desert at the equator which is split into a further several regions, the Rain forest Belt which borders said desert, the warm Amber coasts located on the south side of the Stretch following the continent from the Janid desert and ending around the region of the Ganneoux domains, a selection of sprawling plains, highlands and forests. Next is the Central Corridor, an expanse of temperate forest, rivers and mountains bordering the Amber coasts, Rain forest belt and Ganneoux, where the Emerald coasts are found running along the northern edges much the same way as their Amber counterparts.
This leaves the mountainous country of Frynn north of Ganneoux, the Frynnish mountain range which subtends the Long Stretch horizontally and providing a natural barrier between Ganneoux and the region of Gurn: a grim place composed of marshlands, colder forests and areas of flat land.
There are of course, numerous islands found all around the continent, with many in particular being in close proximity to the Amber and Emerald coasts, one of which of particular note being the northern islands of Gren, from which the Gren-men came and established one of the first major empires on the continent, holding large swathes of the Central corridor, Ganneoux and the entirety of Frynn.
