Authors Notes, July 2025

So this month I am updating the world map. Since I added some more locations to the world including both cities and countries the map started to be a bit inaccurate. Plus, I wanted to revamp the map style anyways.   I also will be doing a little timeline of the various maps I have had for this world as there have been a few different iteration.

Version One

Version one was very basic. I didn’t really know what I was doing with the color palette, the trees, or the labels.

Version Two

Version two I figured out the color pallet, I actually have this palette saved and have been using it on all my maps to keep things consistent. The river in this map has shrunk and I have also switched up the labels.

Version Three

Version tree is the most recent map version and I am really pleased with it. I kept the color palette and updated the style a little bit, especially the trees and settlements. I also switched it from a landscape to a photography view and I like it a lot. Also, the river shrank again :P.
