After Landfall, nothing was the same on Earth. The Eternium, a technologically superior alien race, has taken over Earth for itself. And every 5 years, they insist upon a competition. Their main Realtiy TV Production Company, WorldDungeon.inc, puts on their most intricate, and galactic anticipated show every time: 'Dungeon Crawler: Earth'. 1 million contestants are gleaned from Earth's population, and placed into a 20-level dungeon to test their skills, and make the company riches beyond imagination. At level 15, the contestants have won, and have the opportunity to leave, or attempt to continue, risking their lives once more, for better rewards. And upon the successful completion of Level 20, the Eternium will withdraw from Earth. No one has ever won. No one has ever gone past Level 17. Most say it's impossible - a fool's dream. But some hope. It has been 75 years since Landfall, and a new show is just beginning. Perhaps something will be different, this time around.
Characters will take on the role of human contestants, between the ages of 15 and 30, gleaned from their ordinary lives for, what amounts to, a death sentence. Unless they get very, very lucky. With grim stakes, balanced by the levity and ridiculousness that WorldDungeon.inc puts in their games. With murder in the halls, and live interviews with Eternium, World Dungeon combines some of the best of both post-apocalyptic, and comedy, into the role-playing experience of a lifetime. Onward the game, and Long Live the Eternium!
