Culture
Major language groups and dialects
The main spoken language is New Ilandian, which is sometimes seen as a dialect of Ilandian but also is seen as an independent language. The New Ilandian language looks a lot like Ilandian, but heavily influenced by Gallensiennan.
It is the only language in the world without a real written form, writing normally is done in French.
Ideals
Beauty Ideals
The New Ilandian culture has quite odd beauty ideals, which differ a lot from the beauty ideals everywhere else in the world, which is heavily influenced by its old, racist regime.
- Both men and women should be as pale as possible
- Both men and women should be quite voluminous
Gender Ideals
Gender ideals, however, are different.
Both Savoia and New Ilandia, the two countries where New Ilandianism is the main culture, are the two countries with the smallest gender gap.
Every sex is equal, accordin to them (and me), that is.
