Treaties on the Rules of The World as it Were
"Many claim I have written this for myself. Of course I have. Those who proscribe to some sort of altruistic lifestyle do so for their own benefit. I will not have this misconstrued. I write to be heard, to pass my truth to the future. I am the greatest mage that will ever live and people should remember this. Call me arrogant and vain but overcome my achievement and you'll prove me wrong. Now for those who are less foolish and critical, welcome. To learn from me is a great honour and I am sure you will respect it." - Incanthos' foreword to his peers.

Public Reaction
The book was well received by scholars but the peasantry and those suspicious of magecraft saw it to portend to something to fear.
Legacy
A the most widespread of Incanthos' writings it has elevated him into the position of the greatest mage of all time. Incanthos would likely have been remembered but now he is the most well know mage in the world.
