Carpi are strange in the Sillian Hegemony speaking Aquan and naught else.
Culture and cultural heritage
Having been bound in servitude to Sillia they have lost a great deal of their tribal nature and now work much more as a labour and military force.
Shared customary codes and values
Carpi are very honourable and dutiful. They have almost a genetic requirement to follow rules and hierarchy. Carpi once sworn to a master or cause they will not break it regardless of how hopeless the situation becomes. Carpi also ensure a fallen Carpi's skull is returned to a central Carpi breeding ground tying life and death completing the great circle.
Common Etiquette rules
Carpi are loud and joyous. Their boisterous nature keeping them personable.
Common Dress code
Carpi wear heavy clothing whether it be armour, heavy scale dress or bone wear.
Art & Architecture
Carpi build great structures. Large colourful and spacious. They are not overly grand but almost humble in their expansive yet simple design.
Common Customs, traditions and rituals
The binding of the circle is a grand festival of mourning that remains their sole individual surviving cultural touchstone.
Birth & Baptismal Rites
All children are touched and added to the circle to ensure their lives are blessed by the ancestors.

A Carpi must prove to be aware of the world and must bring something of the world to their people and judged worthy

Beauty Ideals
Carpi love full bright colours, long whiskers and constant solid scales. Carpi are also attracted to bright colours and Carpi of large size.
Gender Ideals
Carpi being of no set Gender slip into roles fitting personality above all else, due to their strength and somewhat restricted minds they end up as guards and labourers more often than not.
Courtship Ideals
Carpi breed once per three years and have no sense for retaining long partnerships. Carpi enjoy mixing and mating with a great many others.
