Anemia isn't transmitted as it is either a genetic disorder or more often caused by a deficiency of iron in the diet.
Causes
Resultant of a lack of iron in the diet.
Symptoms
Fatigue
Weakness
Pale or yellowish skin
Irregular heartbeats
Shortness of breath
Dizziness or lightheadedness
Chest pain
Cold hands and feet
Headaches
Treatment
Primarily iron is the simplest solution and eating more red meats will help with the deficiency. Otherwise tinctures containing small amounts of iron extract can assist more actively and deal with the condition.
Prognosis
Fatigue builds as the condition worsens. This will increase until the more drastic symptoms appear.
Affected Groups
Any can be affected but most affected are pubescent females.
Prevention
Prevention is mostly achieved by the the consumption of iron in the diet.
