Palonwidonel "Walnutshell" the God of Gems and Metals
Walnutshell, a strong male tortle, lived a rough life in a cave near a desert but would adventure out daily to find other caves to add "pretty things" to his cave. He was calm and patient, but also a survivor. His family was killed when he was still young as they were migrating from the mountains to an oasis. His mother loved gems and precious metals and it was one of the few things he remembered of her. He learned to survive and mine on his own. When he was discovered by a lost tradesman, over 20 years had passed since his family died. This tradesman kept Walnutshell as a secret for many years, bringing Walnutshell many new and fancy things in exchange for the gems and metal he had collected. He also taught Walnutshell to read and write, and then about the god of gems and metals. Walnutshell latched onto the belief of this god and began serving him. When he finally left his cave, he found a temple and began a long life of devotion to his god. After passing on, he was welcomed quickly to the dale of his god. He became the person that his god relied on most and grew in power quickly. When his god was murdered, he took over automatically, never even had to think about it.
