The Cloven
The Cloven are a nomadic people that once roamed the open areas of Errota. They are a bi-pedal people and some of the tallest in Errota. They exhibit traits similar to deer, goats, and the like. They are a simple people that migrate thoughout the seasons. The largest of these migrating groups lived in the open plains. In the aftermath of the shattering, these large groups of plain dwellers have mostly disappeared. The smaller forest and mountain dwelling tribes have continued to flourish, however. They remain a nomadic simple folk; living off the land. They have little time for technology and little need for it. The Cloven have long distrusted the Faaleyce {Cat Folk} , and avoid them when and where possible. When they do have to have direct dealings, they come across as nervous, and flighty. They generally get along well with the other species of Errota, and feel especially close to The Fay ."People of the cleft hoof, Cloven we be call'en em. Eh be'in a simple folk. Short lived eh are. Finden em can get abit ard though. They be always amov'in. Ya n'ver sean not'in as scary as a mass of em out race-in cross em open plains. Ya ever 'ering thunder in the distance on a cloudless sunny day; ya best be hide'in and quick or ya be getting run o'er right where yas be standin!"~Paxton the Huntsmen
