New Year's Resolution
Goals
Setting goals is always hard for me. I'm not always very good at setting realistic benchmarks, so I am going to try to do better with this.Create a new World with a magic system based on textile and fiber arts.

Forever Storm
The Forever Storm by Mocimanoban started as a mostly natural event that was infused with metal-magic power. The storm grew beyond control due to interaction with the very rods that were supposed to protect the denizens of Yonderverse. This interplay where solving a problem causing another, more dramatic, problem is a great place for challenge to arise. As a side note, the site design for this world is BEAUTIFUL!
Leylines in Malkora
I was really intrigued by the way Strixxline took the concept of leylines but added more dimension to them. Each line has a different name and power.Runic Magic
This world places runic magic as a subclass to magic. There is a rich hierarchy to magic types.Rutas Surge
A phenomenon in which creatures experience a dramatic explosion in population before surging to expand territory, the concept of a Rutas Surge in the world of Ethnis, is a thing of nightmares. It is complete with a rating system for warning the local residents of the danger, and an entire profession of individuals tasked with reducing the population of the dangers. The rating scale for the warning system is a nice touch.
Murder in Kha'r
This is a short, one page quick mini-adventure. It is short, succinct, and not overly complicated - all things I aspire towards (and typically fail at!). This is the first time I've seen a one-shot structured this way. I may want to apply this format to my Feywild World.Catalurgy
Rarely have I read of a magic form with such dark and disconcerting origins. It was creepy and horrifying, in the best of ways.Remove these ads. Join the Worldbuilders Guild
