Tika is Adric’s beloved Kivu, a loyal and affectionate companion who has been by his side since he was a child. Native to the forests of Nemani, Kivu like Tika are known for their sweet temperament, sharp instincts, and unshakable bonds with their chosen companions.

Unlike most Kivu, who can be skittish with new people, Tika is calm and collected, allowing others to pet her but reserving the privilege of being picked up exclusively for Adric.

About the Kivu Species

Kivu, native to Nemani’s forests, are small, monkey-like creatures with large eyes and ears that grant them exceptional sensory capabilities. Their long claws are ideal for climbing, though they lack the gliding ability of their Earth analog, the sugar glider. In the wild, Kivu live in family groups and are known for their playful and loyal nature.

Kivu are herbivorous, favoring fruit like the Nemani Nyxberry, though they’ll happily eat a variety of fruits and vegetables from any world. In their natural habitat, they hibernate during the winter months, gathering in shared dens. Domesticated Kivu like Tika, however, often remain active year-round when kept in controlled environments.
