Orbital Adjuster
The Itherians have found a way to adjust the orbit of their planets in order to take better benefit of the sun. They have moved 4 planets into synchronous orbit equidistant from their sun and opposite each other so that all 4 are sharing a single orbit. The orbits are on a flat plane leaving room for future planets to be added at angled planes with them. All 4 planets share similar to identical climates and seasons and all are moving at the same speeds and rotating at the same speeds so gravity is the same from planet to planet and there is little to no danger of them colliding.
Invented and first used in 506 by Etule's company. Inventor is Etule's childhood friend Ulek who is genius level but shy.
Pulled the 4 planets in Itherian system into syncronous orbit by 516 and the people started migrating to the new spaces. This allowed Krelein to consider the possibilities of his Empire dreams because he could stop worrying about the lack of space on his home planet of Itheria Prime. The Orbital Adjuster was used several times throughout the golden age of the empire and it was one thing that they did that was helpful for many systems.
