When someone wants to see a location they can do so with the flick of their wrist. The internal body modification allows them to see a holographic representation of anyplace in the universe quickly and if they make the right selections from the menu they can enter the holographic image and transport to that location. Distance doesn't matter. It is necessary to know the correct settings to input to find a particular location and so locations have numeric addresses that are long and few people memorize. You can however save an endless number of addresses in your tech and then select from a menu. When you are travelling for the first time to a new location it is best if you open the window first and double check the location before entering. This way you do not accidentally materialize inside of a bulkhead or a mountainside.

Most people have a default setting for emergencies so they can just create a portal and jump through it, but since it is possible to be followed this is usually not home or anyplace where an enemy could do them damage if they are followed.

Some BodyTech also has the ability to communicate with others on both open and closed channels and to monitor things like temperature and body functions like blood pressure and heart rate.

This is a personal tech and cannot be used by vehicles. It can be upgraded with a simple medical procedure if new technology becomes available or if the person decides they want different features.
