Wyverns

Wyverns are large, winged reptilian beasts distinct from the legendary dragons of ancient times. Unlike dragons, wyverns have only two legs and a pair of winged forearms, giving them a unique silhouette. They also lack the iconic breath weapons often associated with dragons, relying instead on their sharp claws, powerful jaws, and formidable aerial agility to hunt and defend themselves. They are efficient and ferocious beasts, unlike the dragons who have arisen past any primal origins, fully sapient.

Solitary by nature, wyverns typically interact only during mating seasons or territorial disputes, making encounters between them rare and intense. They prefer high terrain such as mountains, cliffs, and plateaus, where they can nest and hunt with ease. The region of Eren, with its rugged landscapes and towering peaks, is the most common place to find these majestic creatures.
