The Unexplained Ruin of the Moonlight Tower, an event steeped in mystery and controversy, remains one of the most puzzling chapters in the history of Marilune. At an indeterminate point in time, the revered tower dedicated to Mene was severely damaged in a manner that defied natural explanation. No witnesses ever came forward, and no records of the event were documented as it occurred, leaving both scholars and worshipers to grapple with the enigmatic aftermath.
When the damage was discovered, it was catastrophic yet strangely precise. Sizeable chunks of the Moonstone material had been shattered, scattered across the premises, and the upper half of the tower leaned unnaturally at a five-degree angle, defying the material's famed resilience. Many of the sacred braziers, intricate fixtures, and cherished sculptures adorning the structure were either destroyed or mysteriously missing.
