The Storm Pirates
An infamous and well known pirate crew that had a multi-decade campaign of piracy along the Lindin and Astana coast. They were destroyed in a large face-off in Darkwater Bay, bringing an end to the pirates for good.
Once the scourge of the Lindin and Astana coasts, the Storm Pirates carved their legend across the sea lanes with unmatched speed and ruthless precision. Their ships were sleek and wind-hungry vessels built for both swiftness and endurance. They could outpace any naval pursuit, striking with sudden fury before vanishing into the horizon. For decades, they preyed on merchant convoys, choking trade and filling their hidden coves with plundered riches. Their reign ended in the infamous Battle of Darkwater Bay, when Lindin’s Navy finally cornered the fleet. In a day-long clash of cannon fire, smoke, and blood, the pirates fought with the desperation of a cornered storm. By sunset, their ships lay burning and broken, sinking beneath the black waters they once ruled. The Storm Pirates’ banners were dragged from the waves, their legacy etched in fear and cautionary tales told in every harbor tavern along the coast. They've hammered a space in history as some of Lindin's most infamous sea raiders.
