The lizardfolk of Srohaxl tend to be rather thick scaled, with scales ranging in all sorts of greens, blues, and greys. Some even have frills that grow from their limbs or around their necks. Many liken them to having traits seen in other reptiles like alligators, crocodiles, monitor lizards, and iguanas.

Carnifex lizardfolk are often described as living weapons. They have long hooked toe and finger claws that can be grown out to razor sharp lengths and their bodies are packed with muscle, making them capable hunters and warriors.

Lizardfolk brought to Azmith adapted well to the heat of region. But other adaptions came to the surface. Many have lean bodies that stride well amidst sand, as well as things like hoods and slender forked tongues that adapt their sense of smell in the hot dry air.

Whilst not as physically imposing as their foreign kin, their fur allows them to persist in some of the coldest climates without issue. The scent-like abilities for blood their peers have, they are said to have put to use sensing things like iron and copper deposits in rock whilst searching caverns.
