Ironwood: The World's Premiere Lumber

Ironwood is a catch-all term for woods either found or treated to become incredibly durable and long-lasting, whilst also remaining workable in crafting.   The Ironwood of Yorn is the hardest of these woods in the world. It is made from specially treated wood in Yorn using traditional tribal and magical processes. This wood is exported across the world and used in luxury furniture, musical instruments, noble carriage axles, sculpture, and even in shipbuilding to reinforce the critical parts of a ship's frame.   It can be imported at great cost either from a reseller in large cities like Ardmor and Drekaya, or directly from travelling Yornic merchant bands.
