Darum

The black dragon that reigned terror over Astana in it's past, and older sibling of Eldra herself. Slayed by the legendary Watcher.

Darum, known as "The Black Death," was the son of the Black Dragonhorde's broodmaster and one of the most infamous figures in Astanan history. Born in northeastern Astana, Darum initially participated in his sister Eldra's grand conquest but defected halfway through, abandoning the campaign to return to his homeland. This act of defiance marked the beginning of his dark legacy.

A towering and fearsome dragon, Darum unleashed a reign of terror upon Astana, targeting the Freewind Kingdom, the heart of Astana's power. He established himself as the unofficial tyrant of the northern and central lands through overwhelming destruction and sheer dominance, spreading fear and chaos across the region. His brutal rule left Astana in turmoil, and his infamy cemented him as a pivotal figure in the nation's history.

Darum’s reign of terror came to an end only when he was slain by the legendary hero known as The Watcher. Had he not been defeated, Darum would likely have continued his campaign of destruction for centuries. Today, he is remembered both as a symbol of fear and a catalyst for Astana's historical evolution, shaping the land through his actions and the resistance he inspired.
