Talin Perlund

Talin Perlund was a male Zabrak who lived on Pha'ka. Talin was a foreman at the Perlund Mining Facility of which his father was chief foreman and owner of.   Talin had short horns protruding past his short black hair. He wore a fitted workers uniform denoting his postition.

The Witch's Moon

  For generations Pha'ka had been known by the people of Alimus as The Witch's Moon. Talin was extremely interested in the story which got the moon the name.   The story goes that when the mining facility was first prospecting their istallation on Pha'ka, the moon was inhabited by a small group of colonists. Talin's great-great-great-grandmother, Terra Perlund, refused to respect their claim to the land and forced those who didnt leave to work as mining labour (a legal move as the moon was officially uninhabited). Once work began, the foreign workers began contracting an unknown infection, many were violently ill and there were rumours of deaths at the time. The colony's elder and leader swore that they had nothing to do with the infection but that she could heal the afflicted if Terra promised to let the rest of her people go free.   Terra agreed once she herself began to show symptoms. The remaining colonists were released and the elder led Terra to an underground tunnel filled with bioluminescent lights and a large plant in the center of a pool. The elder explained that the plant was the source of a local flora, that the pollen it produced was toxic to lifeforms and the companies digging had unleashed it onto the miners. The colonists had been eating the fauna it produced for years which gave them better chance at fighting the illness.   The accuracy of this story is disputed, especially by Talin's father who believed it to be largy false. Despite his father's views, Talin remained fascinated by the story and tried to discover proof of the tale. He began sending probes into the natural caverns in attempt to find the bioluminescent cave described in the story, albiet with very little success.  

Narsi

  In 22 AGE. Narsi Yantrel travelled to The Witch's Moon in the search for more of her people. While disguised as a curious worker, She learned of the moons history from Talin who was more than happy to discuss the story and together they searched for the underground cave. In accordance with Talins previous attempts at seaching, they found nothing.   Narsi returned later the same week to search more thoroughly for the cave. This time she found it; Instead of a plant, there was an enchanted rock left by another nightsister which when touched recounted some of her memories. The memories included a meeting between this nightsister and Tameck Perlund. Narsi sought out Talin hoping he could get her an audience with his father. Talin was initially suspicous because he had since found out about her arriving at the facility under false pretences, but Narsi explained who she really was and shared her discovery of the cave with Talin. The two confronted Tameck and he reluctantly divulged the details of the woman he met that day. The woman called herself Ulnara and she had heavily tattood with scarring on one side of her head.
