History
Xesh-12
In 22 AGE, a distributer of Booster Blue under the employ of Xesh-12 had been comprimised by law enforcement on Calnico IV. The New Territories Protection Corps would have arrested the distributer and intercepted the incoming shipment if it were not for Miks' intervention. Mik’s ensured that the shipment evaded the set-up and that the distributor got off-planet safely. One month later Miks arrived on Alimus, the planet where Xesh-12 operated from, looking to hire their services for a job. Miks told the boss of Xesh-12, Shan Midon, that he worked for a man called The Spider who was interested in making new allies in the region. Shan was apprehensive at first but changed her mind when Miks told her how much The Spider was offering for the jobs. The Spider would pay Xesh-12 between 7,000 and 15,000 credits to collect the imperial chain codes of specific citizens of Alimus. By 22 AGE, Xesh-12 had collected four imperial chain codes for Miks and he had most recently hired them to collect one from Tameck Perlund, the owner of a mining facility on Alimus' moon of Pha'ka. Shan accepted the job from Miks just as she had previously however she had a problem. Her most active operatives, Lapix and Lassiter, had been involved previously in a botched operation at the same facility and both would be recognised if they returned. Fortunately for Shan, three strangers arrived on alimus all with different reason to take the job.The Hunter, Hunted
One of the strangers, Keshling Chamenos, had come to Alimus searching specifically for The Spider and Xesh-12 was her one and only lead. Shan strung Keshling along for a few days work before revealing to her that Miks was their link to The Spider. Ironically, during those few days, Miks and Keshling unkowingly decided to lay low in the same diner and had actually met (even though it was Keshling's companions Bill and Narsi who did all of the talking). Keshling and her companions followed Miks when he left Alimus, tracking the civillian transport he had left on. After a false start they found him on Maruha V, In an oceanbound city owned by KiroGear which housed some very disgruntled workers looking to rebel. It seemed as though Miks was assisting a group called The Workers Front, having helped them devise a plan to abduct an Imperial Customs officer and ransom him back to KiroGear in exchange for rights they had been denied. When Keshling found Miks she attempted to get information about the spider out of him with little success, however, they made a deal; Miks would grant them an audience with his employer if they helped him and the workers front in their upcoming operation. Unfortunately, an unknown plague was running rampant in KiroCity and Miks woke up gravely affected on the day of the mission. He refused to tell Keshling where he was, which infuriated her and almost brought the two to blows. Narsi, who Miks had decided was more trustworthy, would meet with him to verify that his abscense was not some kind of trick. During this meeting, Miks divulged to Narsi that he had a secondary objective that he now needed her help to complete. The spider was looking for information from the imperial they were to abduct, the location of an imperial shipyard known as Yard Ankolidge. Narsi and Keshling completed the objective before they all had to flee Maruha when one of the workers front betrayed the group. Miks, Keshling and Bill were exfiltrated from the city by another employee of The Spider, a Trandoshan named Tath.Athann
Miks collapsed immedeately and Tath diagnosed that he had pushed himself too far using stimulant during the escape. Tath treated the unconcious Miks while he led the party to The Spider in his place. During Mik's treatment, Tath removed his helmet and the party were made aware that he was a lasat. When Miks regained conciousness days later, the party had struck a deal with the spider which would lead them to Ord Mantell, once again accompanied by Tath. Miks choose his moment to thank Keshling for what she did on Maruha and to warn her about what to expect on Ord Mantell.
