Dinek'Glie

Dinek'Glie was a male twi'lek from Ryloth and founder of The Virile Chain, an organization of slavers. Glie trafficked twi'leks from Ryloth during the clone wars.

History

Dinek'Glie took advantage of the chaotic state of his homeworld during the clone wars. The unrest on ryloth allowed him to traffic his own people and sell them on the galactic black market. During this time Glie gained wealth and a great deal of influence with the powerful people both on and outside of Ryloth; publically he was a great friend of ryloth Senator Orn Free Taa . He continued trafficing twi'leks up until the end of the clone wars, after which he was publically outed as a slaver and driven from ryloth by Cham Syndulla and his followers.   Sometime after the clone wars, Glie founded The Virile Chain, A slave trading syndicate, so that he could advance his own influence even further. by the time of the galactic civil war, it was one of the most lucrative slave empires in the outer rim, known for being ruthless but professional. However, Unlike most slave traders, the Virile Chain wouldn't restrict their day-to-day activities to simply buying and selling slaves. Instead, Glie found his success by hiring out large groups of slaves as a workforce; this was a cheaper and less permanent option for their clients.   Over time, Glie expanded the ownership of his organization to six individuals. These "kingpins" all had an equal share in the profits. By 19 AGE the kingpins included himself, Bapha Kain, Xyyyr Desric, Ragribirrg the Hutt, Sena Adali and Harloth Wug. Glie preported that each kingpin was of equal standing within the syndicate although it was clear to some of them at least that Glie still held the most power and influence.
