The birth of the gods

In the dusty tomes of ancient lore, there exists a tantalizing enigma that has puzzled scholars for centuries: the birth of the gods in the Veiled Realms. Through layers of myth and legend, obscured by the mists of time, scholars have endeavored to unravel the mysteries surrounding the origins of these divine beings.   One prevailing paper recovered from ancient ruins of unknown origin posits that the gods were born from the union of two primordial gods, Nazanke and Anima, whose essence permeates the very fabric of existence. Nazanke, often depicted as The Dreamer of Possibilities, is believed to have envisioned the creation of the gods, while Anima, known as the Guardian of The Forgotten, breathed life into their forms.     While this theory is seen as the most likely, the lack of an explanation for the existence of the progenitor gods has many scholars perplexed, as both Nazanke and Anima are already present before its events, almost as though written from a direct observer's perspective. As such, scholars are divided when it comes to its accuracy. Many have offered alternatives over the centuries:  

The Divine Evolution Theory:

• This theory suggests that the gods were not born, but rather evolved over time from powerful mortal beings who ascended to divine status through their deeds and accomplishments. According to this hypothesis, the earliest gods may have been mortal heroes or rulers who achieved immortality through acts of great bravery, wisdom, or magic.
 

The Celestial Convergence Hypothesis:

• Some scholars speculate that the gods were created through a convergence of celestial energies during a cataclysmic event in the distant past. This theory posits that the collision of cosmic forces gave rise to the first gods, whose essence was infused with the elemental energies of the cosmos.
 

The Primordial Fragmentation Model:

• In this theory, it is proposed that the gods were originally part of a single primordial entity that fragmented into multiple beings over time. According to this hypothesis, the original entity possessed immense power and consciousness, but became fragmented due to internal conflicts or external influences, giving rise to the diverse pantheon of gods we see today.
 

The Dreamweaver's Experiment:

• Some scholars speculate that Nazanke, the Dreamer of Possibilities, conducted a grand experiment to create beings capable of shaping the world according to their dreams and desires. According to this theory, the gods were the result of Nazanke's experiment, each embodying a different aspect of creation and endowed with unique powers and responsibilities.
 

The Cosmic Balance Theory:

• This theory posits that the gods were created by cosmic forces to maintain balance and order in the universe. According to this hypothesis, the gods emerged as embodiments of fundamental principles such as light and darkness, life and death, order and chaos, with each deity representing a different facet of the cosmic balance.
 

The Interdimensional Convergence Hypothesis:

• Some scholars speculate that the gods originated from parallel dimensions or alternate realities, converging with the Veiled Realms through rifts in the fabric of space-time. According to this theory, the gods are beings of multidimensional origin, their presence in the Veiled Realms a result of cosmic convergence.
 

The Divine Seed Hypothesis:

• Scholars speculate that the gods were born from a divine seed planted in the heart of the cosmos by an unknown cosmic entity. Over time, this seed grew and blossomed into the pantheon of gods we see today, each deity representing a branch of the cosmic tree of existence.
 

The Celestial Symphony Theory:

• According to this theory, the gods were created through a harmonious convergence of celestial energies orchestrated by a cosmic symphony. Each god emerged as a unique melody within the cosmic composition, imbued with specific attributes and powers that resonated with the harmony of the universe.
 

The Dreamer's Reflection Hypothesis:

• It is suggested that the gods were born as reflections of Nazanke's dreams, each deity embodying a different aspect of the Dreamer's imagination. According to this theory, the gods exist as manifestations of Nazanke's subconscious desires and aspirations, shaping the world in accordance with their divine whims.
 

The Ancestral Memory Theory:

• Scholars speculate that the gods were born from the collective memories of ancient civilizations, imbued with the wisdom and knowledge of generations past. In this hypothesis, the gods serve as guardians of ancestral wisdom, guiding mortals along the path of enlightenment and progress.
