Ship Class: Dropship

Dropships are commonly attached to larger Ships, Orbital Stations, or Spaceports and serve a specific purpose. They are very cost effective but limited in crew size, armaments, defenses, and cargo space. Their low cost and high-modification possibilities make them a staple of many larger ships (especially those that are cumbersome or limited in Atmospheric Capabilities). They are too unwieldy to be used in any sort of Combat capacity barring extreme circumstances and notoriously have basic Sublight engines but no capacity for Zip-Drives or long-term travel.
