The moss goes through a metamorphosis at about 3 years of age before then Sentient moss has very little moss and shelters under Moss birds wings to survive if a sentient moss reaches this stage it creates a cocoon out of moss and spends a week inside

Genetics and Reproduction
Living moss doesn't reproduce like most creatures instead the species reproduces by splitting in half and slowly growing again

Ecology and Habitats
Sentient Moss live primaraly in the Arc-hold Forest though can be found near dark moist locations and have rarely been found in Udeia

Living Moss only requires Large amounts of water and sunlight as it produces food via photosynthesis
Biological Cycle
As the months grow colder the Moss curls up in hollows and hibernates until the temperature rises

Sentient Moss is a passive creature and runs away when it sees a threat
