Summer Harvest

The Summer harvest has it's origins lo g before Heratiam ever fell in the old province of Tierwath (Modern day Dialon). It has not changed much from when it was first conceived but the main location of the festival has changed with the times usually happening at the capital which as of 2025 is located in Udeia it has been in Udeia for the past three hundred years

The Summer Harvest begins on the first Monday of summer where a parade runs through the entire city and people bring various crops in a communal feast the entire country comes together to celebrate and militaries are pulled back for celebrations the harvest lasts one week.

Beautiful floats are made and decorated for the parade and large tables are set up in the town square for people to bring food and crops. The leader will wear special ceremonious garments and a crown made of fallen twigs and various bright berries which usually include holly fruit, mahonia, and yew berries

The leader of the country (or Province in ancient times) Would be present to announce the beginning and end of the festivities. There will also be a orchestra playing each night to invite in the summer. It is also common for leaders of other countries to be present as honored guests of the crown. In modern times honored guests of the crown are far fewer and only include Dialon's closest allies such as the High minister of Ostron, Duke or Duchess of Boktha, and the president of Erhos.

The Summer Harvest occurs on the first Monday of Summer. The date will only shift if the leader in unable to start the festival in that case it would be delayed till the next Monday and the cycle goes on until the leader is able to start the festivities, one time the Harvest was delayed until Winter because of how sickly the leader was.
