At the beginning of a sentinels career they are treated like new recruits in a army. After a few years of service they can climb up the ranks for better pay and resting quarters after a approximately ten years of service they can become a wing leader or Lead medic, after proving yourself by committing a selfless act for another you can join the highest rank.

The pay varies with rank but the general starting pay is around 50,000 and increases by 10,000 for each rank increase

Sentinels get free housing, generally positive fame, and access to the best training grounds in the empire. Housing starts out quite small and bare but as you ascend the ranks you get better housing

The sentinels are the elite military and tackle the more dangerous missions that need specialized forces like dangerous espionage, subterfuge and sabotage missions, Assassinations, and diplomatic missions to other countries

Sentinels are generally seen as the end goal of most citizens though some in the upper class think quite lowly of them almost like their the prime minister pets.

Sentinels are given a long range weapon of their choice, two short range weapons for close combat, and various strengths of armour for tasks some who survived the illicit experimentation don't wear armour as it interferes with their enhancements.
