With it's mostly coastal environment most plants are either aquatic or semi-aquatic many kelps and seagrasses are unique to the Ostron controlled Hollow bay a stand out is the Blood Grass family ( Cruor herbis ) this family of plants are various shades of red and are omnivorous they can use sunlight but can also use blood from animals as a replacement for said sunlight, no varieties have been found on land or outside of Hollow bay they thrive in salt water and cover approximately 5% of the seafloor in Hollow bay. Another oddity is the Highland ribbon tree it grows up the mountains of Ostron the leaves droop downwards in a distinctive spiral they spin and turn to the wind some call it the ribbon dancer or ballerina it's beauty is prized by the upper class.
Fauna
History
Ostron's history stars as a part of Evrelth before it broke off with Bjarndyr it was a fishing colony sent to find rare varieties of fish as well as house the largest fish market to this day.
after it broke off with Bjarndyr it became the Ostrondyr Republic it stayed in that state for a few years until the republic broke into it's parts
A few years later Ostron joins the Trans-National Defence Policy with Dialon , Boktha , and part of Porsarita in little time Porsarita Unifies and Boktha attacks Reimayth . Ostron uses military training exercises to distract Evrelth and prevent it from helping Reimayth.
Ostron Assists in the ongoing war. This war is ongoing.
