Drake

Drake are similar to monitor lizards in the regard that they are four legged quadrupeds with a tail but they differ in some regards first of all they are much larger standing at around a meter and a half tall and up to two and a half meters in length.

Drakes have flatter heads often being quite wide. they have two eyes situated near the front of their faces. Drake often have long straight horns or frill like horns

Drakes are the only Draconus species to not have any semblance of wings at all they can still breath fire

Drakes hatch from eggs a characteristic of almost all Draconus species and take around seven years to fully mature they grow slowly all throughout without much change to the physical appearence other than their size. Drakes have so kind of puberty or growth spurts as they grow.

all drakes need is space and plants to survive being primarily herbivores

drakes mostly eat plants though hon occasions where they are unable to consume plants they can consume meat it is however quite rare for them to do as such

Drakes are mainly found on Atalo Island; a remote island found off the coast of Evrelth some have been found on other islands as well
