Galvatorix
A massive spectral dragon that haunts the magical research halls underneath Cragyard, Galvatorix was the de-facto provincial governor and Arcane Prefect of Quethsegol. His inquisitive nature, however, led him to forsake these duties and entrusting them to his mortal allies. Instead he focused on his research of the magical planestones that dotted the continent. This would lead him to the construction of a massive research facility underneath the city he was supposed to govern. His laxity eventually led to the events known as the Slaughter of the Crag. A turn of events that would haunt Galvatorix for the remainder of his days.
As the Draconic Schism occured and the Ballet of Scales heralded the end of Aurix and the Age of Dragons, Galvatorix saw the end of his kind approach and chose not to join the battles. Instead he prepared for the worst and sent his most trusted allies away with the planestones he had managed to collect. He himself chose to stay behind and face his doom in halls underneath what would become Cragyard. Soon after his death he realised his folly. The wards placed upon the halls that prevented the fluttering energies of the stones to escape, also prevented his spirit from leaving the halls, trapping him for eternity.
Now he roams the halls, watching them collapse as he finds himself longing for company and to restore his mighty halls to their former glory.
