Intellipath® Stealth Communicator

Supply Name: Intellipath® Stealth Communicator
Classification: Telepath-class communication device
Status: In testing

Utility

This device has been developed for troop-to-troop field communication. Its purpose is to supply silent ongoing transmission of orders and updates between soldiers and chain of command during field engagement without being heard by the opposition. Stealth is a necessity for operational success.

Sending and receiving messages is achieved through mostly hands-free operation via the touchscreen with tactile Screenmorph™ technology, which forms raised buttons that differ per menu screen for a smooth, sight-free experience. The screen is also removeable and reattachable for added ease of use.

The Intellipath works by being attached to the soldier's forehead at a height low enough to accommodate the standard battle dress safety helmet. (A thinner version is in development which will be able to fit underneath the helmet.) When power mode is switched on, the four cognitrodes then automatically extend and attach themselves to stimulate the brain centers responsible for proper creation and transmittal.

Manufacturing

Currently only manufactured in C.A.G.E. Corps's bay area facility for use in assisting with the Tala'm invasion.

  • Discovery
Through the observation and dissection of telepathic Tala'man species, C.A.G.E. researchers were able to determine how they are able to communicate without even being in the same room. It was discovered that the brain centers for thought, speech, and conveyance of message are directly connected.
