The Challenger was a ILH-KK citadel-class light freighter owned by the Flying Fang Gang and modified with additional shields and weaponry. After the Endurance Freelancers stole it as a get-away when freeing the Flying Fang Gang's wookiee slaves, Korr Zemzidem stripped it for upgrades to use on the Endurance before using it to help smuggle the wookiees to Kashyyyk.
However, the operation went awry and D9-S1 overloaded one of the engines to simulate a crash. It is currently a wreck in the Shadowlands on Kashyyyk.
