Rashikshaak
Rashikshaak (a.k.a. Rashk)
A former slave and a fearsome combatant. Rashikshaak (often reffered by his crewmates as "Rashk") is the Endurance Freelancers crew's primary melee combatant, and woe be to those he comes into contact with. Rashk is a freedom-fighter at heart, though one plagued with unending rage for slavers. Trandoshians in particular.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
As the runt of his litter, Rashk is just over two meters tall with slim shoulders. He has mostly aubrun fur, but his braids are dark brown.
Apparel & Accessories
His equiptment includes primarily his swords, bowcaster, jetpack and suit of armour.
The swords, Ryyhn and Kalla, representing the dangers he's faced and the anger he feels, are his primary weapons. Swords are never the answer, but the question: "swords?" is always answered, "yes!"
The bowcaster, taken from the foul Trandoshian bandit, The Flying Fang(link), was originally made for another wookie. It therefore represents Rashk's connection to his people, and to the long and ardous task of freeing all Wookie slaves across the galaxy.
The jetpack, similarly, was also taken from the Flying Fang. It holds no sentimental value, but is an important tool with many applications.
Finally, the armour, it has been modified with superior Wookie design, meant to save Rashk's life against all that oppose him and his friends.
Mental characteristics
Personal history
The young Rashikshaak was born on Kashyyyk, in the capital city Kachirho. There he lived a peaceful life with parents and his grove of siblings. Shortly before his 13th birthday, Trandoshan Slavers decended upon the planet. As a mere cub, he couldn't escape, try as he might.
The following years were harsh. Life as an enslaved Wookie was not easy. And the Trandoshans used Rashk for hard manual labour and gladiatorial fighting. It wasn't until the old slave leader died that Rashk managed to escape.
His return to Kashyyyk was a time of recovery and recouperation. It took time to aclimate back to society as a regular person again. But Rashk managed as best as he could.
When the war came to Kashyyyk, Rashk signed up for the militia immediately. He would face death rather than live another day as a slave. During the last engaments, he helped down a transport droid carrying destroyer droids.
As thanks, the newly formed empire put the yoke back upon him. And twenty years passed. Twenty years with no means of escape.
Until, the up-and-comming crimeboss Peta Far, needed muscle. As a great favour, he pulled some strings, and Rashk slipped between some cracks. No one would miss a Wookie.
That favour would hang over Rashk like an executioner's axe until he freed himself of that too.
