Mental characteristics
Personal history
N'Jadaka was born to Prince N'Jobu of Wakanda while he was working undercover in The United States of America on a mission for the Hatut Zeraze.
After seeing the oppression black people in America, he came to believe Wakanda had a responsibility to use its resources to help people in need. When he was unsuccessful in persuading his brother, King T'Chaka, of his views, he conspired with Klaw to steal a supply of Vibranium from the Mena Ngai, which resulted in the deaths of several Wakandan citizens.
Horrified by his brother's actions, and seeking to preserve Wakanda's isolation, King T'Chaka killed his brother, leaving his nine-year-old son behind in Oakland, covering up the murder and denying the boy access to his homeland.
N'Jadaka, under the name Erik Stevens, attended first M.I.T. and then the U.S. Naval Academy after finishing high school, eventually becoming a navy seal. From there, he was recruited to a Joint Special Opperations Command black-ops unit under the control of The CIA, conducting high level Assassinations and destabilising governments. His skills gained him the nickname 'Killmonger'.
However, all this was preparation for his ultimate plan: returning to Wakanda to expose T'Chaka's crimes, claim his birthright, and enact his father's plans to start a world-wide uprising.
In pursuit of this goal, he formed a partnership with his fathers old ally, Ulysses Klaue. Together, they robbed the British Museum, stealing a number of Wakandan artefacts.
Klaue was sent to sell the artefacts to a buyer in South Korea, but this was a CIA sting, and he was arrested, requiring Killmonger to rescue him. He managed to successfully free him, seriously wounding Everett Ross in the process, but this was short lived, as Killmonger revealed his true plan, killing Klaue and his other associates, before travelling to the Wakandan border with Klaue's body.
There, he presented the body to the Border Tribe as a gift, and W'Kabi chose to open the forcefield to allow him access, as his parents had been killed in Klaue's original robbery.
With W'Kabi's support, he presented himself to the Taifa Ngao, formally challenging the newly crowned King T'Challa for the throne and title of Black Panther, which T'Challa accepted.
The following morning, T'Challa was stripped of the superhuman abilities granted by the Heart-shaped Herb, and faced his cousin at Warrior Falls. After a brutal battle, N'Jadaka defeated his cousin, pushing him over the falls, seemingly to his death, and N'Jadaka was named King of Wakanda and Black Panther, undergoing the coronation ritual to visit the Ancestral Plane and speak with the spirits of his ancestors.
He immediately began putting his father's plans into action, sending new orders to all Hatut Zeraze agents in the field to prepare to lead a global uprising, and ordering the Wakandan Design Group to begin assembling shipments of Vibranium weaponry.
However, before he could complete his plan, he was confronted by T'Challa, who had survived the fall and regained the power of the Black Panther, and formed an allies with the Jabari.
As T'Challa's allies faced off against N'Jadaka's forces, the two Black Panthers faced on another within Mount Bashenga, battling through the Mena Ngai. After a long, hard battle, N'Jadaka was defeated, and chose to succumb to his wounds rather than accept medical care, asking only that his cousin take him up the mountain so he could watch one final sunrise as he died.
As a son of Wakanda, his soul lives on in the Ancestral Plane. His body was buried at sea, at his request.
