The Queen Alexandrin
The story, although some scoff and say myth, of the Birth of Queen Alexandrin is an event of magic, and beauty, it is debated perhaps even divine power, the only one know since the Cloudawn. As children, we all read The Leginaa, an epic poem of the life of the royal line, this is the final chapter, one of the shortest ones, that of the birth of our Queen.
Our lady born with marking of power,
Born blessing of rose,
Born with sun-shining.
You are blessed
You are blessed
With it comes our hope
Hope of a new age
One to rise above the last
And with your blessings, comes a curse,
A curse of blame, if things get worse
Yet you have our hope,
Our hope.
So take it, make it something new,
So take it, make it something better
So take it, make it something good
And with it let us rise
To next year in the skies
The Leginaa saw Sun
The original Leginaa was written just under eleven generations ago, before the sun-ending Cloudawn came. It was written in a very capricious voice as an epic poem, where entire chapters would be in verse, and the a great dissonance would occur, often throwing it into free verse. Very few people who heard it believed that Clouds would suddenly cover the land. But once the Cloudawn came, several people in shock formed a cult-like group worshiping the long dead prophet. They were discovered by a group of bandits almost three generations later, and were found decaying in the forest village they had created, many days later. This is where the original Leginaa was found and now still resides in The Great Line Of Gold Museum. The Leginaa is now a well known and respected piece of literature that most people are well versed in.
