The Draconites
Few factions have such an air of mystery as the Draconites. They are renowned for the fearlessness in both combat and diplomacy, and are said to make no distinction between the two.
They originated as a part of the crew of the Zenith that independently woke the colonists out of stasis because the Quassar and Yreides families were taking too long to decide what to do with them.
They were among the first to leave the Zenith, disappearing into the dark. No one knows what they discovered out there among the debris and ruins of abandoned worlds, but they quickly became the stuff of legends, ghosts seldom seen but the subject of many tales and legends. A common tale is that their travels in the Dark between the Stars turned them into something cold and purely egotistical. Whatever they found, they returned as a disciplined faction of warrior-philosophers possessing advanced technology and secret truths.
They were recently offered a seat on the Council of Factions (possibly by the Consortium sticking to the logic of "keep your friends close, but your enemies closer").
Though they originate from the Zenith, they are not friends of the Zenithian factions and are generally considered among the Firstcome.
Tenets of Faith
The philosophy of the Draconites is often theorized about, but it's clear they emphasize conflict as a metaphysical concept. They regard it as a form of personal and collective growth.
They worship the Lady of Tears in her cold and strict form, the Executioner.
