The TBD

It is the ending of an age. As the 1800's are coming to an end, shadows are moving across the land and the world. Unearthly and inhuman forces, pushing againgst the barriers that keep them out, are trying to influence the power hungry, the disillusioned and the disturbed and turn their hands to a terrible task.   In a world both similar and familiar and otherworldly and new explore the growth of steam technology and science in a world where magic still lurks at the dark edges. The empires of the south vie for dominance. The courts of power rise and fall. The setting is far away in the northeast where the cold ice lingers all year round. The cold and barren landscapes are where the old magic lingers in dark cevases and hidden valleys but in the cities new inventions and scientific acheivements are being discovered everyday. The universities across the sea are hotbeds of technological advancement and the industry and energy has even reached out to this far corner of civilization. Nidonfawr sitting where the river Dain widens into a great lake before dropping down into the low bogs of the Dyggernant valleys seperate the Brietland from the regional powers that cluster around the north shore of the Wadj-Wer Sea. The tensions among the countries of the Eurd are rising as they are drawn into the mechanizations of the great powers to the south.
