Hearth & Crumb

Location: Nestled in the Blacklake District, just a short walk from the market square. The scent of cinnamon, warm bread, and melting butter drifts down the cobbled street, drawing morning crowds and hungry adventurers alike.   Exterior: A charming half-timbered building with ivy climbing up one side. The sign — a golden loaf of bread rising from a stylized oven — hangs above a red-painted door. Fresh flowers bloom in window boxes year-round, thanks to druidic enchantment.   Interior: Inside, the shop is cozy and warm, lit by a small hearth in the back. Loaves of every shape and size line the shelves, and a glass case displays pastries filled with fruits, cheeses, and even some exotic Chultan spices. A small table by the window is always occupied by local gossipers, guards, or off-duty adventurers.   Specialties:   Neverwinter Hearthloaf – Crusty on the outside, soft and spiced inside. Popular among ship crews.   Fireberry Tarts – Sweet and slightly spicy, made with rare northern berries.   Wyrmbread – Dense, nutritious travel bread infused with honey and herbs. Keeps for weeks.   Mage's Meringue – A sweet that crackles on the tongue. Slightly magical (mild prestidigitation effects).   "Spellbread" (secret menu) – A minor enchanted loaf sold quietly to trusted adventurers (grants 1 temporary HP for an hour).
