Angulotl
Angulotl are a race of poisonous-to-the-touch frog folk that can be found throughout the Known Spheres. Generally preferring to reside in aquatic, tropical climates, angulotl have been known to live in desert oases and frozen oceans, though not without some difficulties.

Dietary Needs and Habits
Angulolts need to remain moist in order to breathe properly through their skin, which leads to them never straying too far from sources of fresh water.
Due to their delicate phsiology, angulotls are also excellent indicator species and are some of the first creatures to be harmed when a body of water is contaminated by pollutants. Contaminated angulotls often become feral and unthinking, attacking anything in their path. This sensitivity also makes angulotls more susceptible to magical runoff as well.
Behaviour
Angulotls generally avoid combat, but when pressed they attack in force. Their own natural poisonous secretions are used to coat their weapons and their strong legs allow for massive leaps, allowing for distance to be closed easily.
When hunting, angulotls are ambush predators, preferring to remain within water or obscured by flora until just the right moment to strike.
Body Tint, Colouring and Marking
Angulotls bear similar markings to non-sentient species of frog. Bright, vibrant colors, from reds and yellows to blues and purples, with black spots.
