A Fated Bond
In a high medieval fantasy world, the Order of Arelian recruits and trains innate magic users to become Sahar, guardians sworn to protect the mortal realm from dark forces. Each Sahar is paired with a Guardian, sharing a deep mental and emotional bond that allows them access to each other's minds, feelings, and desires. This bond can either be a rare, natural fated bond or created through an extensive ritual by the Order.
Plot points/Scenes
Arrival at the Temple: Your character arrives at the temple, bringing her prejudices and past traumas with her, and quickly avoids my character.
Training Exercise: During a training exercise, they are paired together and through accidental physical contact, trigger a fated bond.
Struggling with the Bond: The newfound connection forces them to confront their pasts, prejudices, and the deep emotional and mental bond that now links them.
Growth and Understanding: As they train and face challenges together, they begin to understand and rely on each other, uncovering the true strength of their bond.
Confronting Darkness: Their journey leads them to face dark forces threatening the realm, utilizing their unique bond to overcome these challenges.
