Ambush in the Shield Forrest

After sacking the town of Flarebank Sir Candace mercer and her army of 5,000 disapear into the Shield Forrest. According to all census data the forrest was empty. The troops were ambushed by fey gurilla fighters and although they techinically eliminated the threat, the left the forrest with only half of the soldiers still in fighting condition.
