House Ishar
The Supreme Rulers of The Noureen Wood, House Ishar has a long legacy of rulership in the Noureen Wood. Founded on the Tenants of Protecting the Land, and Praising the Wildmother, House Ishar is a proud family, and a major political player in the nobility of the StormClaw Empire.
History
House Ishar traces it's origins to the great fey migration, coming to verdonia after leaving their home plane of The Fey Wild. In the Noureen Wood the Ishar's established themselves as Arthna, or Kings. It is there they fought for control of the Noureen wood with other Fey Arthna. Eventually house Ishar proved dominant and all other Noureen Houses swore fealty, but they couldn't reign for long. The Karkoni Empire had risen up, and conquered all of the Noureen Wood and used the Fey Peoples living there as slave labor. When House StormClaw finnaly freed the Noureen Wood, House Ishar and it's vassals were more than happy to forsake their indpendence as Kings and swear fealty to the StormClaws.
Appearence
Members of House Ishar are often seen with dark black hair and pale skin. House ishar is known for producing thin children, who grow to become average height, but lanky in proportions. They are also known for their trademark purple eyes (the exact hue of purple can vary).

The crest of House ishar features 3 purple roses on a white stripe, like most families from the noureen fey, this symbol is far to ancient to know the origin of but some theorize the purple coloring of the roses and borders represents the famous eye color of House Ishar. The family's words "Sharp as a thorn" are said to represent the house's beauty and martial prowess, having the entire army of the Noureen at their command.
