Social Interactions between galactic Powers
There are four major powers in the known galaxy. They are the Celestine (the Celestial Empire), The Coalition (the Galactic Coalition of Worlds), the Corporate Sector (a myriad of corporations of various sizes making up what is known as Corporate Space), and the Sargonian (the Sargonian Empire).
Each faction has an opinion about themselves, and each other, that vary greatly depending upon whom you are talking with.
Celestine
- On Themselves: We serve the Emperor, and his Servitors. And by serving, we make the Empire strong.
- On the Coalition: Selfish and indolent, but effectively harmless at their current distance.
- On the Corporate Sector: Good source of goods and services, but fractured and in need of unification.
- On Sargonia: Brutal monsters that must be put down for the security of the galaxy.
Coalition
- On Themselves: We live our best lives and provide our citizens all the tools they need to live a self actualized life.
- On the Celestine: A healthy and vibrant society. A bit isolationist, but worthy of respect.
- On the Corporate Sector: A little lacking in human rights, but open to conversation and negotiation.
- On Sargonia: Overly aggressive, but honorable. Prone to seeking combat over conversation.
Corporate Sector
- On Themselves: "Greed is Good" is an axiom that goes back to Lost Terra. We live this to its fullest.
- On the Celestine: Their leaders expect more than is possible, and their workers deliver more than expected. Difficult, but valuable customers.
- On the Coalition: Far too absorbed in their own thing, which makes them perfect customers.
- On Sargonia: Good soldiers. They take their pay, and do their job without question. No matter the job.
Sargonian
- On Themselves: Victory is the only measure of success. The strongest rule us, because the strongest win.
- On the Celestine: They are cogs to the will of their Servitor masters. They serve no purpose but to die by our hands.
- On the Coalition: Soft and easily manipulated. Basically not worth the effort.
- On the Corporate Sector: They make good weaponry. They pay well for mercenaries. But they try to solve everything with credits when bloodshed often works better.
